The Board of Selectmen last Thursday signed a three-year contract with Plainville lawyer Robert Fennessy to become Kingston’s town administrator. His salary will rise from $107,500 in the first year to $110,000 and $112,000 in the next two years, plus performance-based incentives. “This is the first performance-based contract Kingston has had,” board Chairwoman Elaine Fiore said. Finnessy fills a job that had been open for more than a year Jim Thomas resigned amid allegations of threatening behavior toward female employees.
