Road Reconstruction work begins

Residents in a Cushing Street neighborhood should expect repaving work to begin later this month. Minuteman Road, Patriots Way, Volunteer Road, and Flintlock Circle will all be repaved from July 22 to 26. Elsewhere in town, Abington Street will also see reconstruction work during the same period. The exact scheduling depends on the weather, and the final surface coating will be applied at a later date, said Department of Public Works officials. During construction, on-street parking will not be permitted from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Travelers should also expect road delays. Those with questions should call the Department of Public Works at 781- 741-1430.
