Holbrook Cultural Council openings

Town officials are seeking community members to fill vacant positions on the Cultural Council. The council each year receives funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which it disburses through grants to support community activities in Holbrook. “The volunteers . . . [on the council] are a great group of people that care about Holbrook,” Stephanie Trowbridge, the group’s chairwoman, said in a statement. “We really enjoy supporting arts and culture in Holbrook and look forward to welcoming new members to the council.” Anyone who would like to apply is asked to send an e-mail to Trowbridge at providing information on themselves and why they are interested in serving on the council. The Board of Selectmen will consider the appointments at an upcoming meeting.
