Letter: Still ‘very disappointed’ in Jewish center’s closing in Stoughton

I just finished reading your article on the anniversary of the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston (“Jewish center turns 30, celebrates success,” Aug. 11).

How disappointing for the South Shore Jewish community that the JCC thought it was OK to sell our Striar building in Stoughton, that was part of our community, plaques were donated, family memories were there, and the building is there but nothing else.

We meant very little to the JCC for them to turn their backs on us. Very disappointed.
