The Plympton Historical Society building at 189 Main St. will soon have much more curb appeal, thanks to Tim Sauchuk. The Silver Lake Regional High School junior, who is working toward his Eagle Scout badge, is creating a memorial garden to the left of the historic building that will include plantings and a bench dedicated to three deceased local residents — Charlie Bricknell, Elizabeth Dennett, and Edwina Wood — who were all active in the community. The 16-year-old Sauchuk is raising money and seeking donations for the project, which he hopes will be finished by mid-October.
