Students of Silver Lake Regional High School and their families can follow the administrators on Twitter (@slrhsprincipal and @SLAsstPrincipal) for up-to-the-minute information on the school. Principal James Mulcahy last week tweeted “SL teachers hard at work google training on opening day.” School began last Wednesday for students in Kingston’s elementary and intermediate schools, and the Silver Lake Regional district’s middle and high schools. Mulchay said that advisory group (formerly homeroom) high school teachers passed out student information packets to students to take home, complete, and return to school. Events this fall include the Kingston School Committee meeting on Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Kingston Intermediate School library and the Silver Lake Regional School District Committee on Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Silver Lake Regional Middle School.
