Hanover School Committee job open

Residents interested in serving on the School Committee have until Sept. 16 to submit an application to the Board of Selectmen. The position, which became available with the recent resignation of Kevin Bradley, runs through May 2014. “This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get involved but isn’t sure if he or she wants to commit to a full three-year term,” said selectmen chairman Joseph Salvucci. “We have a new superintendent, and we want someone to be a part of this new chapter.” The Board of Selectmen and the School Committee will hold a joint meeting Sept. 23 to interview candidates for the position. “Our goal is to make an appointment that night,” Salvucci said.
