Housing Authority appointees

The Board of Selectmen and the Housing Authority jointly appointed Thomas Mulry and Sara Stinson to two vacant positions on the authority. Mulry and Stinson will fill the seats of John Huxley, who died in July, and Leo Fuller, who moved out of town. The appointments, which were made at a recent selectmen’s meeting, last through the annual town election next April. The term of Huxley’s seat expires at that time, while the term of Fuller’s seat expires in 2016. Voters in April will elect someone to a new five-year term for Huxley’s seat, and someone to fill out the remaining two years of the term of Fuller’s seat.
