The town’s annual bulky waste day will be held on Sept. 28, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Plympton Street landfill and transfer station. The chance to get rid of unwanted large items is open to all Middleborough residents and a landfill permit is not required, according to Town Manager Charles Cristello. Materials that can be dropped off include couches, recliners, large plastic toys, and chairs. Items that will not be allowed include construction debris, televisions, and large appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, washers, and dryers.
