Burglary arrest

A Brockton man was arrested early this month in connection with a Norwood burglary in August. Anthony Brown, 52, was charged with with breaking and entering in the nighttime and larceny at a home on Queensboro Court on Aug. 7. The investigation involved collecting DNA at the crime scene, as an absence of fingerprints led police to believe the culprit was wearing gloves. According to Norwood police, a warrant for Brown was issued on Oct. 2, and with the help of an Easton police detective, who was familiar with Brown and spotted him in Brockton, an arrest was made by Brockton police. Brown was arraigned on Oct. 3 and was being held on $10,000 cash bail.
