Hospital mural to be unveiled

A mural depicting landmarks around town is scheduled to be unveiled at Jordan Hospital at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. It was painted during the summer by campers from the Old Colony YMCA’s Camp Clark and includes such sites as the waterfront, Plimoth Plantation, and Mayflower II. It was designed by Shields Design Studio in Plymouth and will be displayed in a main hallway on the ground floor of the hospital, next to the cafeteria. “Through the collaboration of Shields Design Studio and the YMCA Camp Clark summer campers, our employees, patients and their families will be able to enjoy the bright and colorful mural that celebrates Plymouth, its beautiful landmarks and waterfront ,and inspires outdoors and activity,” Andrea Holleran, the hospital’s vice president of external affairs, said in a press release.
