GlobeSouth: Players of the Week, Top 10 football teams

High Five

Christian Carr , Plymouth North: The junior back followed up last week’s four-touchdown performance with two scores, part of a 30-carry, 169-yard rushing effort in a 20-0 shutout of Nauset.

Steve Cuqua , Walpole: From his own 24, the sophomore back ran to the outside on a stretch left, and, using his blockers effectively, ripped off a 76-yard touchdown in the third quarter, the headliner to a 16-carry, 185-yard, three-TD effort in a 35-6 Bay State Herget win over Walpole.

Jake Gibb , Stoughton: After replacing senior starter Stanley Sajous (injury), the sophomore completed all four of his passes in a 26-3 romp of defending Division 3 Super Bowl champion Sharon. He had a fifth completion that was negated on a penalty.
