Trick-or-Treat: The Brockton Rox will host a Trick-or-Treat event on Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Campanelli Stadium. Halloween parade: Anyone wishing to participate in the Halloween Parade should meet with folks from the Marion Art Center at the Music Hall at 4 p.m. on Thursday. Volunteers should wear costumes. Concert: Parkway Concert Orchestra begins its season with “Spooky!” on Nov. 3 at 3 p.m. at the First Congregational Church. Geneviève Leclair conducts the 50-piece orchestra, with featured violinist Kay Rooney-Matthews. QUINCY

Gala and auction: South Shore YMCA will host the 13th annual Enchanted Evening Gala and Auction: Casino Royale on Friday from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Boston Marriott Quincy. There will be dinner, dancing, entertainment, auctions, casino games, and raffles. Proceeds go to the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign.
