Homecoming includes school dedication

The School Committee has decided to hold the official dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new East Bridgewater Junior-Senior High School on Nov. 27 at 4 p.m. The ceremony will be part of the homecoming celebration the day before the Thanksgiving Day football game against Rockland at the school’s new artificial turf stadium. The committee felt the timing of the ceremony would attract residents and former students who return to the area for the holiday. The dedication is open to the public and will be held in the Dr. Judith A. Riordan Performing Arts Center. The school’s homecoming rally will also take place Nov. 27, when a homecoming king, queen, and their court will be announced and floats prepared by each class will be on display in the school parking lot.
