The owner of Centerfield’s Restaurant will sell his alcohol license, following an Oct. 15 hearing with selectmen, who threatened to revoke the license. Centerfield’s has not been open since early this year. Manager and owner James Marathas told selectmen that he was in a dispute with his landlord over a situation that made it difficult for customers to park at the restaurant. Selectmen said the issue was that Marathas was not using his license. Marathas agreed to apply for a license transfer by the selectmen’s next meeting on Nov. 5.
