The Mansfield Mothers’ Club is hoping for a line around the block for its 8th annual “Shop Til You Drop” fund-raiser for Our Daily Bread food pantry, to be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Mansfield Elks Club. The food pantry is run through the Orthodox Congregational Church of Mansfield and provides groceries to more than 100 Mansfield families each week. “These are our neighbors. The need to put a balanced meal on their tables is very real,” said Theresa Freeman, Mothers’ Club president. Freeman said many vendors are local, including Ray DeAgrela, who will be opening a new restaurant soon in Mansfield called Tasty Ray’s. Another vendor, Beads for a Cause of Franklin, will donate 20 percent of its sales to the food pantry. Admission is $5 or a bag of nonperishable groceries.
