Hanson

Town on Facebook

Town Administrator Ron San Angelo recently established a municipal page for Hanson on Facebook. The page will be used to provide information and updates to residents about such topics as Town Meetings, road closures, power outages, and school closings or late openings, officials said. Residents are encouraged to “friend” the page, which can be reached on Facebook by typing “Hanson Massachusetts” and then choosing the option “Town of Hanson.” A photo of San Angelo appears at the left hand corner of the page. Already, the page has about 530 friends. “I want to make it as easy as possible for every citizen of Hanson to bring forward to me their concerns and questions,” San Angelo said in a statement. “It will also be a great tool for me to provide them with information as well.” Town information can also be found on Hanson’s municipal website, www.hanson-ma.gov.
