Voting returns to Ted Williams Camp

Residents will return to the town-owned Ted Williams Camp next spring to cast their votes in elections, after using the George R. Austin Intermediate School for the past two years while the camp was being renovated. Selectmen approved a request from Town Clerk Janet Tracy to go back to the camp for voting, which will be held in the former commissary. Tracy said that when voters used the school, they were occasionally hampered by lack of parking when school was in session and when buses were dropping off and picking up students. “We’re looking forward to being back at Ted Williams Camp, and I know the residents are, too,” Tracy said.
