Announced Democratic contenders for statewide offices have been invited to speak at the Plymouth County Democratic League’s dinner meeting this Thursday. “It’s an opportunity for people to get some questions answered, to hear positions, and to decide who they might want to support going forward,” said Kathleen DiPasqua-Egan, chairwoman of the Hanson Democratic Town Committee. Keynote speakers will be Plymouth County Register of Deeds John R. Buckley Jr., a Brockton Democrat, and state Representative Josh Cutler, a Duxbury Democrat whose district includes Hanson. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. at Camp Kiwanee on Route 58 in Hanson, and tickets are $18. To purchase one in advance, contact DiPasquana-Egan at 781-308-3241 or kdipasqua.egan@yahoo.com. The event is open to all Democrats.
