A Dover man has been charged in connection with robberies at two branches of Citizens Bank this fall, one of them in Dedham. Leonard E. Burd, 43, allegedly robbed a branch in Natick in September and a Dedham branch in October, according to a statement issued by Dedham police. Burd was arrested without incident Tuesday in Dedham, police said, and charged with armed robbery and possession of a hoax device in the Dedham robbery. Police in Natick charged him with armed robbery, larceny over $250, intimidating a witness, and making a false bomb threat, according to Natick Police Lieutenant Brian Grassey. The robberies were investigated by police from Dedham, Natick, Norfolk County, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
