Energy committee seeks new member

The town is seeking to fill a vacancy on the Energy Advisory Committee after the resignation of member Pam Rasa. The committee’s responsibilities include exploring ways the town can conserve energy and reduce emissions, finding sources of funding that can support energy efficiency, and recommending changes to town bylaws and policies on energy conservation. Committee members are appointed by selectmen. The deadline for applying is Nov.15. Residents interested in serving on the committee should e-mail a letter to selectmen at tcraig@lakevillema.org.
