The Board of Selectmen announced a vacancy on the Finance Committee and is seeking letters of interest from residents who may want to serve the remainder of the term, which expires in April 2015. Melissa Hopkins recently resigned from the board, citing personal reasons. Anyone interested in serving should write to the Board of Selectmen at tcraig@lakevillema.org or by mail to the board at 346 Bedford St., Lakeville 02347. Letters must be submitted by 3 p.m. on Feb. 27, said Town Administrator Rita Garbitt. The appointment will be made jointly by selectmen and the Finance Committee, she said.
