Meeting on waste-water plan

A public hearing will be held Feb. 24 on Phase I of the town’s Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan. Town Meeting voters in April approved a $2.5 million project to upgrade the town’s waste-water treatment plant so that it can meet new federal guidelines. As part of that effort, another $150,000 was approved to fund a waste-water management plan that will help the town become eligible for a state Department of Environmental Engineering zero percent loan. More information is available on the town’s website at The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room in Middleborough Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Ave.
