Quilt show: The Second Congregational Church is celebrating its 20th and final benefit Quilt Show and Luncheon on March 1 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The luncheon is served by an all-male waitstaff and features a choice of entrees with several desserts. The lecture is free and open to all residents. Blue Hills Winter Fest: The Blue Hills Ski Area is inviting members of the community to join the fun at the Blue Hills Winter Fest on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Events include a night hike, downhill skiing, Irish tunes of Songs for Ceilidh, a chili cook-off, and creative winter crafts. Norwell

Jazz performance: Jazz singer Melodee Savage will perform traditional and contemporary jazz and blues on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the James Library & Center for the Arts. Savage will be joined by a trio including John Lockwood on bass, Yoron Israel on drums, and Steve Salerno on guitar. A free reception will follow the concert. Plymouth

Spring concert: The Cantabile Quartet will perform on March 2 at the Whitfield House at 3 p.m. The program will consist of music composed by Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, and Saint-Saens. Randolph

Winterfest: The South Shore Chamber of Commerce is hosting “Winterfest — a Night on the Town” on Thursday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Lombardo’s. Winterfest offers a mix of the South Shore’s finest food purveyors, wine and beer tastings, and a sampling of area lifestyle vendors.
