Design workshop on video games


The Milton Public Library will host a video game design workshop March 14, at which youths can explore the world of computer game design through an interactive program. The program is geared towards students in sixth through eighth grade, and space is limited to the first 14 who sign up. Several teens have already done so, but the library is encouraging more to sign up, said Young Adult Librarian Amy Rosa. “I’m hoping they find something that they love to do and carry with them,” Rosa said. Empow Studios will lead the workshop, teaching design through a Windows-based product. “The kids are actually able to play those games at home from their computer,” Rosa said.
