Former town manager on the move

As Foxborough selectmen worked behind closed doors last week to reach a contract agreement with incoming Town Manager Bill Keegan, news was spreading that former town executive Kevin Paicos is on the move again after a three-month trial at a new job. A story in the Jamestown Press reported that Paicos has parted ways with the Rhode Island town because of a residency issue. The story said town councilors wanted Paicos to live in town, per its charter, but he had decided to return to Massachusetts after renting locally last fall. Foxborough selectmen last August bought out Paicos’s three-year, nine-month contract a year early after a joint decision not to renew the agreement when it expired this coming June.
