Middleborough author Edward Lodi will sign copies of the latest installment of his Cranberry Country Mystery series Saturday at Maria’s Card & Gift Shop at the four corners, 1 Center St. Lodi will appear between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to promote “Murder on a Lonely Bog.” The series takes place on and around the cranberry bogs of southeastern Massachusetts. Lodi is a former English teacher at North Carolina’s Shaw University and the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay. He is the author or editor of more than two dozen books and has credited his background working on the bogs in his youth for inspiration for his writing. For more information, call 508-947-0786.
