Canton: The July 4th Celebration and Fireworks features inflatables, face painting, and airbrush tattoos at 5:30 p.m. Concert with Classic Trax at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks display at 9 p.m. Events on July 4. Cohasset: The town presents a concert featuring the Rusty Skippers on Thursday, July 3, at 6 p.m. Cohasset Common, Highland Ave. and N. Main St. www.townofcohasset.org

Duxbury: The 4th of July Parade departs Halls Corner at 2 p.m. on July 4, then proceeds down Washington Street to Duxbury High School. Parade awards ceremony at 4 p.m. at Duxbury Middle School. Fall River: Fireworks over Taunton River at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 4. Rain date July 5. www.fallriverchamber.com

Hingham: July 4th Parade starts at 10 a.m. at Hingham High School on July 4, travels east on Pleasant Street, left onto Middle Street, north on Main Street to Hingham Square. Plymouth: July 4th Parade begins at Mayflower Business Park at 9:30 a.m. on July 4. Fireworks over Plymouth waterfront at approximately 9-9:15 p.m. july4plymouth.com/general-info/

Randolph: The Night Before The 4th Parade starts at the Higashi School, 800 North Main St., at 7 p.m. on July 3 and travels south along North Main Street to Crawford Square onto Memorial Parkway. A fireworks display behind Randolph High School will be held shortly after the parade. www.townofrandolph.com

Sharon: July 4th Celebration on July 3 features a 4 p.m. Bicycle and Doll Carriage Parade

(Line-up at Beech Tree Park at 3:45 p.m.). The parade will travel on Beach Street and go to the bandstand. At 4:30 p.m., Lakeside Celebration at Memorial Park Beach features a 4-H hands-on pet exhibit, Roam Railroad, games, and food. Live music from 6:30-9:30 p.m., pie eating contest at 8 p.m., 9:30 p.m. fireworks over Lake Massapoag. Rain Date is Sunday, July 6 at Memorial Park Beach. www.sharonjuly4.org

Stoughton: July 3: entertainment starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
