Boutique Fitness, a workout facility specializing in personal and small-group training, opened a Mattapoisett location at 33 County Road. This is the fitness center’s second Massachusetts location, following its inaugural shop in New Bedford. For membership information, call 508-758-4000.

Herb Chambers Lexus of Hingham is now open and ready for business. The new car dealership is at 141 Derby St., across from the Derby Street Shoppes. The sales department is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The service and parts departments are open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday until 5 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Hingham Commuter Ferry is celebrating its 40th year of service. On Oct. 6, 1975, the ferry took its first trip with 70 passengers on board. Today, it transports about 4,000 people a day and makes multiple daily trips between Hingham and Boston, with some boats stopping at Hull, Logan International Airport, and the Boston Harbor Islands. A round-trip ticket from Hingham to Boston costs $17, or $8.50 for seniors.

A Weymouth teacher was recently recognized as a 2015 Healthy School Hero Award winner. Heike Mertens-Tuplin, a fourth-grade teacher at Academy Avenue Primary School, was among 13 people cited for their dedication to improving students’ health, nutrition, and physical activity during the 2014-2015 school year. She has worked on an array of projects to encourage healthier practices by her students, including a program showing how much sugar is in specific foods and drinks. Other honorees hailed from as far away as New Mexico and Colorado.

Roche Bros. is bringing a New England Cheese Festival to its supermarkets. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, the Marshfield location will host an array of tasting events, including demonstrations by cheese-makers, a wine and beer pairings program, and cheese-related discussions. More than 15 local cheese makers will visit Roche Bros. locations in Westwood, Wellesley, Boston, Sudbury, and Marshfield through the rest of the month.
