The public can review a plan for improved pedestrian safety and handicapped accessibility in Dedham’s McDonald Square in a meeting on Sept. 5 at the Endicott Estate.
The almost-completed design calls for new and rebuilt sidewalks, ramps, curb cuts and crosswalks in the square, the business center of the Manor neighborhood near Hyde Park.
Town engineer Jason Mammone said comments from the public would be incorporated into the final design. He said there is no date for the work to begin, though, as there is no final cost or money in the current town budget.
“No money, no schedule,” he said. “As soon as the money is available, it will be determined from there.”
The public meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Endicott Estate is located at 656 East St.Johanna Seltz can be reached at email@example.com.
