Five seek to fill late Mansfield selectman’s seat

Five candidates are seeking to serve out the unexpired term of Mansfield Selectman George Dentino, who died in August from injuries after a fall. The special election will be held on Nov. 14 to fill the term, which will expire next May. The contenders include former Selectman Olivier Kozlowski, who served for six years on the board; Allen Bryer of Copeland Drive, who served for a year on the Historical Commission; Matthew Donnelly of Shawmut Avenue, who served a year on the Fales Oil Site Review Committee; David Martin, a former Historical Commission member who has served on the Industrial & Development Commission for the past three years; and Neil Rhein of Old North Trail, founder and director of the organization Keep Mansfield Beautiful.
