Duxbury’s Bobby Maimaron has led the Williams College football team to a 4-1 start after a winless 2016 season.

Averaging 6 yards per carry in his first season on the Curry football team, the junior racked up 95 yards and three TDs on 12 rushes in a 40-0 victory over Becker. The Westwood High grad was the Offensive Rookie of the Week in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.

With no timeouts, the first-year quarTerback directed Williams on a game-winning 80-yard drive in a 27-26 win over previously unbeaten Middlebury. He threw for 195 yards and two TDs and rushed for a team-high 93 and a score. Winless in 2016, William is 4-1.

The junior forward netted her second goal in two games to lift the Brown women’s soccer team (9-4) to a 1-0 Ivy win over Harvard Oct. 14. A biology major, she graduated from Brockton High as the program’s career scoring leader (73 goals, 43 assists).
