The freshman midfielder netted her program-record ninth assist of the season as the Worcester State women’s soccer team (11-4-2) earned a share of Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference title with a 7-0 win over Massachusetts Maritime.

The first Bates football player to be named New England Small College Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week since 2015, the senior from Tabor Academy drilled field goals of 18 and 29 yards and three extra-point attempts as Bates (1-6) edged Colby, 27-24.

Making his first collegiate start, the 6-foot-1, 165-pound junior goalie made 19 saves to propel Merrimack (1-4-2) to a 5-3 Hockey East win over visiting UMass. Pantano played juniors with the South Shore Kings program for two seasons.
