Encouraging self-regulation skills

The Franklin Special Education Parent Advisory Council will hold a presentation on self-regulation issues for special-needs children Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The presentation, led by a child psychiatrist, will look at how school, family, and therapy can help children develop the skills to appropriately manage their feelings and behaviors, and the role that medications can play in their development.
