Film, discussion on genetically modified foods

“Genetic Roulette: The Gamble of Our Lives,’’ the latest entry in the Friends of the Ashland Public Library’s documentary film and discussion series, will be screened Tuesday at 7 p.m. The newly released documentary looks at studies on genetically modified foods, some of the political responses, and the health problems potentially posed by these foods. A moderated discussion will follow the film’s screening at the library, 66 Front St. For more information, call the library at 508-881-0134 or visit the sponsoring group’s website, www.friendsoftheapl.com .
