First Light festivities Thursday

More than 60 businesses are lined up to participate in the town’s 16th annual First Light winter festival, taking place Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Coolidge Corner, Washington Square, and Brookline Village commercial districts. The kick-off event is slated for 5 p.m. at Town Hall. The annual event seeks to encourage consumers to shop at local businesses, and features musical acts, dancing, and circus performers.
