Santa will drop into town Saturday

Santa Claus  will be dropping into town on Saturday, arriving around noon by helicopter on the front field at St. Mark’s School, at Route 85 and Main Street. Accompanied by his elves, Santa will head into the Southborough Community House, where children can have their picture taken with him and sit on his lap while sharing their Christmas wish lists from noon to 3 p.m. The entrance fee to see Santa and have a photo taken is $5 per child, or $10 per family (photo included). Arts and crafts, story-telling, and holiday music courtesy of Mr. Dave of Garden Music Together will all be available to keep the kids entertained. Cookies and hot chocolate will also be available on the way out. The event’s organizer, Kindergroup, a cooperative playgroup in town, asks each family to bring a perishable food item to donate to the local food pantry.
