Tree of Lights ceremony Tuesday

Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston is holding a Tree of Lights ceremony and reception, which provides a holiday gathering for area families who have lost a loved one, at 5 p.m. Tuesday at 70 Walnut St. The gathering, which is the last of four Tree of Lights ceremonies that the regional organization is holding this month, provides local residents the opportunity to sponsor a light in memory or in honor of a loved one, with donations supporting the not-for-profit organization’s mission. There will be a reception following the ceremony, and, for those still working through their grief, a Coping with the Holidays workshop will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. To attend the workshop, RSVP at 978-774-5100. For information on how to honor someone through the Tree of Lights, call 978-223-9787, or visit www.hns.org.
