Amazing Things names new executive director


The Amazing Things Arts Center has announced that Phil Knudsen, a musician and former management professional, will step up as the nonprofit organization’s executive director starting next month. Knudsen will take the reins from founder Michael Moran, who announced in October that he would be retiring as executive director at the end of the year. Knudsen was unanimously approved by the board of directors to oversee the Hollis Street facility following his retirement from Dow Chemical, where he worked for 23 years, and demonstrated creativity as the author of numerous US patents, board members said.
