Forum to cover public safety efforts

Town officials will discuss how they handle safety issues and crisis intervention during a forum hosted by the League of Women Voters of Lexington at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Cary Memorial Library. Police Chief Mark Corr, Fire Chief John Wilson, and the Human Services Department director, Charlotte Rogers, will present case studies to show how the local agencies work together to protect residents in difficult or unsafe situations. The event is part of the league’s monthly series of First Friday forums.
