Library to host memorial lecture

The Friends of the Robbins Library organization is collaborating with a Belmont-based nonprofit group, Science for the Public, to hold a lecture in memory of the late Andy Ananthakrishnan . On Jan. 15  at 7 p.m. at the library, 700 Massachusetts Ave., Richard Primack, a Boston University biology professor, will discuss the effect of climate change on the birds and plants of Massachusetts. Ananthakrishnan, who had been on the Friends of Robbins Library board, died in an automobile accident in June, according to the library’s announcement on the memorial lecture.
