Millennials in the labor force

40.5: Percent of the US work force is expected to consist of Millennials, also known as Generation Y, by 2020, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. The cohort’s members were born roughly between 1982 and 2002, and will grow as a percentage of the labor force as they age. The youngest are still in elementary school, but by 2020 the group will be between 18 and 38 years old.
