Town has opening for DPW official

The town is looking to hire an operations manager for the Department of Public Works before the end of next month. Town Administrator Michael Sullivan has been overseeing the department since Gerald Flood retired as superintendent over the summer. In addition to hiring an operations manager, Sullivan said, the town is looking to hire an engineering firm to provide services for the department on an as-needed basis. Details on the operations manager position, which has a deadline of Jan. 25 for applicants to submit a cover letter and resume, and the request for engineering proposals are available on the town’s website, www.townofmaynard-ma.gov.
