Choruses join voices for ‘Gloria’ performance


The Weston High School Chorus and Concert Choir,  the Weston Community Chorus,  and Boston’s In Choro Novo  will perform Francis Poulenc’s “Gloria’’  Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the Regis College Fine Arts Center, 235 Wellesley St. Admission is free, and the snow date is Feb. 12. Under the direction of Therese Provenzano,  the four choruses will be joined by soloist Junko Watanabe and an orchestra composed of student and professional musicians in performing the six-movement piece. Parking for the concert will not be not allowed at Regis College, but will be available at Weston High School, 444 Wellesley St. A school bus will provide shuttle service continuously from 7 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.  For more information, contact Provenzano, Weston High’s choral director, at 781-786-5976.
