Town census forms should be returned

The annual town census was mailed to residents on Jan. 17 and was due back to the town clerk’s office 10 days from receipt. Dog license forms were also mailed at the first of the year, and they are due back by March 1. The fee is $15 per dog for up to two pets, and $10 per dog for seniors. Kennel rates vary depending on the number of dogs. A late fee of $25 can be imposed after April 15 for unlicensed dogs. To get a license, an up-to-date rabies vaccination certificate must be provided. Residents should contact Town Clerk Barrie H. Clough at the Town House or by calling 508-785-0032, ext. 226, if they did not receive a census or dog license form.
