Origami puppet workshop Tuesday

Looking for things to keep your children ages 4 and older busy during school vacation week? The Upton Town Library is holding an origami puppet workshop Tuesday from 3 to 4 p.m. in the media center at Memorial Elementary School, 69 Main St. Taught by Debbie O’Carroll, the workshop will teach students how to create creatures by folding paper in the traditional Japanese method. The students also will craft a script for a puppet show so they can present their origami creations to family and friends. The workshop is limited to 30 students, so preregistration is required. Register by calling the library at 508-529-6272 or e-mail nicole.uptonlibrary@gmail.com
