Selectmen approve housing agreement

After several weeks of discussion, the Board of Selectmen voted last Monday to execute a host community agreement with developers of the 40B low- and moderate-income housing development Fifteen Great Road LLC and owners of the property at 15 Great Road. Having a host community agreement ensures that the town's subsidized housing inventory will remain above 10 percent through the 2030 Census, in the event that some of 15 Great Road’s rental units are subsequently converted to ownership. The agreement must undergo review by the town counsel before it is finalized.
