Minute Man group plans free talks


The Friends of Minute Man National Park will present its annual winter lecture series on March 10 and March 17 at 3 p.m. in Bemis Hall, 15 Bedford Road. On March 10, J.L. Bell, the author of the blog Boston 1775, will talk about the challenges General George Washington faced when he became the Continental Army’s commander-in-chief. On March 17, Joan Walsh will discuss results of the Massachusetts Audubon Society’s recent bird monitoring project.
