Planners seek help on vision for town

The Department of Community Development and Planning is hosting a 7 p.m meeting Thursday at Watertown Middle School, 68 Waverly Ave., to gather reactions from residents on a proposal to set a vision for the town’s future. The town’s comprehensive plan is being adjusted for the first time in 25 years, and officials are hoping to hear residents’ opinions on what needs improvement in Watertown. The forum will include discussions on how to enhance the waterfront along the Charles River, the potential focus for Watertown and Coolidge squares, and likely land-use issues along Arsenal, Galen, Mt. Auburn, Main, and Pleasant  streets.
