The meeting to discuss the comprehensive plan for Watertown that was slated for March 7 has been pushed back to this coming Thursday due to snowy conditions during the originally scheduled meeting. The event will take place at 7 p.m. at Watertown Middle School, 68 Waverly Ave. The meeting aims to gather reactions from residents on a proposal to set a vision for the town’s future. The forum will include discussions on how to enhance the waterfront along the Charles River, the potential focus for Watertown and Coolidge squares, and likely land-use issues along Arsenal, Galen, Mt. Auburn, Main, and Pleasant streets. For more information on the planning process, e-mail Steve Magoonat smagoon@watertown-ma.gov or Gideon Schreiberat gschreiber@watertown-ma.gov; they can also be called at 617-972-6417.
